    By far one of the best breakfast places we've ever been too! Thank goodness we got there at 8 because once we left there was a long wait (and on a weekday!). My boyfriend and i are extremely picky with our breakfast bc it's our favorite meal! This place did not disappoint. He loved his omelet and most importantly he said the potatoes were the best he's ever had because they were seasoned right and just the right amount of crispy! I was in a sweet tooth and got a strawberry/blueberry waffle! Super yummy!!! The service was quick and they were extremely friendly!! Def coming back here!!!

    Located on 50, next to CVS, is the Swiss Chalet, Heidi's. You can't miss the BRIGHT YELLOW. My Father has been going to them since '64 and I've been going since '89. This is the go to place for breakfast, in South Lake Tahoe. Usually, there is a line, first indicator it's going to be good. When inside you see all the Swiss Culture. A very different and neat place to go to, out of the norm. The service is always awesome and the manager usually comes around and checks in. I ordered the Florentine Benedict w/their potatoes. It was awesome! English Muffin, with nice, fresh, fatty, avocado spread on top of it. Next comes the fresh, earthy, spinach, slightly cooked down. Then a fresh, sweet, juicy, tomato. Then a perfectly poached egg, just waiting for the yolk to burst out! All drenched in vibrant, tart, lemony, creamy, hollandaise sauce. They have the best Florentine around. The potatoes are done perfectly. Soft, fluffy inside, yet caramelized, crispy outside. Best potatoes/home fries around. *Love this place and I'm glad now I'm sharing it with my 3 yr old daughter. Don't change a thing*

    Good food in a vintage ambience. The place feels cozy and takes you back in time with faux leather booths. The service was quick, there was a wait but that's expected for a place like this which is on the main boulevard
